Facebook privacy question

Hi folks,
As many users are aware there is a Recent Activity section on Facebook which shows what you Like and comments you have posted on other people's walls so that friends can see comments that you have posted to non-mutual friends. Lately Facebook implemented the option to hide these from Profile, which I have done and they are no longer showing in my Recent Activity. However, now I have set these to hidden does anyone know if comments I have posted on other people's walls show up in the new annoying News ticker they have implemented?
