Facebook may start logging your cursor movements

    What next? Monitors that track what you are looking at on the screen?

    Probably.
    Lets see what we can make of that ... how long you linger on a certain word, or look at a certain image, or whether that pesky ad got your attention and for how long... all so they can:
    1/ make more money out of it. (Just imagine companies being charged according to how long people looked at their ad )
    AND/OR
    2/ spy on you so they can keep the NSA etc happy so they can use anything at all against you in time to come. (Paranoid? I don't think so)

    This will probably be done by using Javascript, so it will be possible to block it. So, I'm not too worried from this perspective. On the other hand, though, this trend that involves actual spying on the users is more and more troublesome. :(

    So now Facebook can be classified as "spyware"? I'm glad I've stopped using it.

    Well... I use facebook on my iphone and there is no mouse!
