My facebook was hacked so I changed my password as recommended by FB. When I tried to sign on again I found the were two other old emails that were associated with that page. These emails were closed sometime ago so I get not get it unlocked. That seems to be no way to get to FB support.

No sure this is the correct form, but you look like smart people. Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

It takes time for Facebook to respond and investigate reports such as these.
    Being patient helps.

You say the old emails were closed some time ago. If the provider of those accounts really deleted them, perhaps it is then possible to create a new account with the same old emailadress?

The reset password and account recovery mail are sent to the designated account associated to your Facebook account as a security measure in the event that it was not the account holder that took the recovery actions.

No action is required against the email sent if it was you that requested the account recovery actions. The older email assuming these are old email may be disregarded.

I can not reopen one of those emails. It belongs to a previous employer and I know they will not open that email.

Why don't you just answer your security question and get access that way?

FB help center explains how to accomplish via the following FAQ:
I can’t reset my password because I can't access the email address listed on my account: http://www.facebook.com/help/132243923516844/

Glad to have been of assistance. Would you care to share with those that may have experienced such problems so that they may learn from your experience.

Yes it was a frustrating. Quite frankly, I am not sure quit sure what allowed my to get back into FB. I had sent two messages to FB and never received a response. I started the process of having friends authenticate me.

So at the end of the day, I can't give you a definitive answer on why it cleared the lockout. However the word "patience" came up after sending messages to FB.

    Sorry that's it.

USA still the best. But barely.
So what'd FB do, send a pw reset to your new email?
