    Hi all,
    Here's a new registered user of TDS-3 with a lot of o_O

But one at a time. On my system the F5 function does not work. All i get is page not available.

Can somebody shed some light on this?

Further problems I have with ping and trace. Ping gives an error (try later) and Trace gives no reaction at all!

    What do I do wrong?

    Frans

The F5 problem is because the webpage doesn't exist anymore. This will be fixed with TDS-4

What are you trying to ping? Or Trace? did you give TDS-3 permission in your firewall? If you prevented TDS-3 access, then these errors are likely to occur.

    ping and trsace won't work

    Hi,

I'm trying to ping 194.109.6.92 wich is my ISP
And trace too but that gives no reaction at all!

Nor does update. Noreaction from TDS at all.

Firewall is norman and tds is in and outbound OK in the rules.

Switch firewall of, no change. Ping gives error and Trace does nothing!

    What can be wrong?

hi Frans, try to use the ping command from the command-prompt
(start, run, ping) If that isn't working either, the problem is not in TDS.
Perhaps a (DLS-)router or hw-firewall is blocking this?

The ip-address you gave (www.xs4alll.nl) is 'pingable'
also try to ping to another external (known) ip.
Pinging to your local loopback ip 127.0.0.1 must always be possible.

If you keep having problems you can write me in Dutch as well.
