F-Secure Internet Security 2007 50% Discount???

I am wondering if I purchase F-Secure Internet Security 2006 via this offer, will I be able to immediately update to the 2007 suite once I have installed the 2006 version?

Has anyone tried this, or got any information?

It would be very cool if it worked!

Mine did too. Just a shame neither of them work well on my machine.

Incidentally, those with OEM keys will find they can't use the OEM license on a downloaded (non-OEM) version.

 

That is correct. However, I contacted the support folks, and they set it up so that I could get a 2007 OEM version. I am not sure how all this works, but my 2007 version also says OEM. It does not make much sense to me.

I suppose I will have to ask for an upgrade next year also. I have a 3 year OEM license that is good until 2010.

I contacted customer support and they said YES. If you download 2006, you can upgrade to 2007 for free.
