F-secure 2005 Internet Security Firewall

    Did anyone test firewall included in F-secure 2005 Internet Security?

    It offer many features....

    too heavy to run ANYTHING on a fresh installed XP SP1 system.
    Thrown out.
    Firewall seemed to work well.

    I agree totally with no13, running Win XP with sp2. I liked the program overall but it adds a large number of processes to the machine and really slows everything down. The trade off in performance is just not worth it to me.

    By way of comparison, I run KAV 5.0.18 with hardly any noticeable change in performance.

    I use the net FIS 2005 with no problems (except install takes time with some reboots). 2004 slowed down.
    By the way KAV is horrible on my XP machine. Strange, no problem on 98SE before going to XP.
