I used it a long time ago on my WIN 98 computer. It works as advertized by dimming the screen at the hour you set. When I got my XP computer I decided not to install it because I like the bright screen better even at night. The theory is that if you stare at a bright light for a period of time before going to bed, your brain is fooled into thinking it's early in the day, and you will have trouble falling to sleep. So if you dim the brightness on your screen at night it will be easier to fall asleep......Oh! sorry, I dosed off for a second.

I found it to be less "eye relief" and more "makes screen look ugly and hard to see".

I've been using flux for a few weeks and it works ok though I would rather be able to set a custom schedule for it rather than relying on sunrise/sunset. Also I think I would prefer if it just changed the screen brightness rather than color temperature.

Actually used it years ago, but got sick of the warm colours when dealing with multimedia.

If I remember right, there was an options window where you could set the time, on/off. It's been a long time, so I could be wrong.

There is a option to disable it for a hour.

I have been using flux for the past few months and I think it really does help my eyes and sleeping.

My screen brightness is set to max and during the day its great and my eyes feel more comfortable at night. No need to adjust the settings as it does it for me.

In my opinion it's not really about sleep, or being able to sleep better, but more about the screen to be easy on the eyes. It works quite well I think, and it's recommended for people that get's headaches easily as well.
