After Look and Stop totally messed up my system (had to spend two hours with my machine beeing fixed by a techniciam to fix the mess this awful program caused) then after this running mcafee desktop firewall for the last few weeks and not being very impressed with it, (as it every five minutes it would ask should i allow firefox internet access, then i click yes five minutes later it asks the same question). it was like that with all my internet accessing programs, very irritating!.

So anyway a friend on another site recommended EZ firewall 2005. I am trying it now and i have to say from what i can see i am very impressed with it it seems to be the best of all i have tried (thats just presentation wise) as i am not sure exaclty how good of a firewall is it which really is the important thing.

So can i ask is it good at stopping both inward attacks and outward processes?. Does it run well with my AV? (Mcafee Virus Scan enterprise . Does it have a good leak test score?

Also does anyone have any recent comparison charts with this in, as i am curious how well does it fare against Norton, Mcafee, Outpost and Zone Alarm.

    Thanks for your help

with the mcafee firewall all you have to do is set a rule instead of just clicking the allow box. Mcafee is really a good firewall it is one of just a very few that are certified by ICSA. Of course the EZ firewall is also certified by them.
