EZ anti virus - 6.2 Beta

Looks like EZ are planning some changes to their anti - virus Including POP 3 email scanning .

The NEW FEATURES of eTrust EZ Antivirus 6.2 include:

* POP3 Email Scanning - Now instead of waiting for the virus to execute from an attachment for eTrust EZ Antivirus to detect it, the software can now scan your POP3 email before the attachments reach your computer.
* Smaller Virus Signature File Updates - AutoDownload will detect which signature file version you currently have and it will only download the signatures that you need. This allows for both a quicker and smaller signature file download.
* Additional Scanning for Compressed Files (CAB, ZIP, etc...)
* New Interactive Realtime Messages with links to the CA Virus Information Center - When Realtime scanning detects a virus, the pop-up message will provide a link to the website that has more information about that specific threat.
* Updates to the System Cure that allow us to provide more thorough cleaning of your computer if it does become infected.
* New Advanced Help Files

To REQUEST A COPY of the BETA software, please follow these instructions:

1. Open an issue at https://www.my-etrust.com/services/serviceDesk.cfm.
2. Enter in your email address and hit "Submit".
3. Under "Help Category" choose "BETA - eTrust EZ Antivirus 6.2". Please provide your Full Name, Email Address and BETA Testing History.

NOTE: You don't have to be a current subscriber to test this new version!
