My English is failing me now: Are eyeglasses spectacles (the one you have on your nose) or are eyeglasses lenses (the ones you wear on your eyes)?
eyeglasses=spectacles lenses= a pair of lenses (glass or plastic) set in a frame contacts=contact lenses
Thank you! Do I understand it right that eyeglasses (spectacles) and lenses (a pair of lenses (glass or plastic) set in a frame) are the same?
you're welcome. now that i read the full article, i can say that in the article's context, lenses means simply a pair of glass or plastic lenses. here's an image of a pair of lenses: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0260/5816/2253/products/revant-prescription-lenses-primary-square-crystal-clear-ar_e2aa1feb-030a-46f4-bfeb-66faaa16881b.jpg
Reflections can be seen in Windows and other monitors as well. I think the idea of video calling is way overrated.
