extra Disk Cleanup options

i just found this to get more setting's options in Disk Cleanup, go>run then type - cleanmgr /sageset:1 the extra options are -


* Temporary setup files
* Debug dump files
* Old chkdsk files
* Temporary Remote Desktop files
* Setup log files

 

i might have a look for the page i got it from again; it tells you how those options can be saved and then run as a scheduled task.

 

If you've got a shortcut-icon to Cleanup, like I do (I like to run it each time I come offline), you could add the parameter to its command line right in the shortcut.

 

thanks, Mike i might be wrong, but i think there was something you needed to add to the end of the shortcut to get it to work with those settings. i'll go and have a look and post the page i got it from
