external usb harddrive

    Using w2ksp4 and TI8b774 I have no problems unless I have my external usb harddrive on. The problem is that the program quits responding at the screen that asks for automatic or manual file size. This occurs with either the emergency book cd or when in windows. TI8 sees the drive in windows but even though I request the image go to an internal drives it halts. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Problem solved. Bad usb port on mother board. Thanks for the help.
