External USB Drive not detected for restore

    Hi,

    I have my computer image on an external usb drive.

    I boot using an acronis boot cd but when i have the option to restore it will not allow me to use the external usb drive :(

    Also my backup is in tib format not in bkf which is what it is asking for.

    please help! *puppy*

    oooooook, ive figured this out now.

    but when i restore and hit proceed it takes like 3 seconds to complete then restores then when i boot it doesnt work. :doubt:

    Please note that both file archives and disk/partition images created with Acronis True Image have a default “.tib” extension.

    Could you please describe the issue in more details?

    - What is the exact name and build of the product that you use? You can find this information in the Help -> About dialog (build number should be a 3 or 4 digit number).

    - What exactly did you try to perform?

    - Describe actions taken before the issue appears step-by-step.

    - Have you received any error messages? What exact error messages? When exactly have you received them?

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.
