External Drive inaccessible or files corrupted

hello, I need help with my backup hard disk.
i scanned it with kaspersky antivirus and after i restarted the system, the message above was displayed.
Please this drive contains everything that i possess including my projects.
How can I recover my files pls....
it shows me that the file type is RAW..

if the files are that important then it is best you find a professional shop that is able recover files off the disk that is probably damaged. usually they should provide you with a list of files that can be recovered before any payment.

 

Cables: ensure they are seated properly.
Run an alternate OS on CD. Linux Live CD.
Determine if it is accessible this way.

Does it spin up, lights show!
Try plugging into a different location; If USB1 try USB2; If Front USB try Back USB; Try plugging in the drive as non external (remove from enclosure, insert in your computer).

There is no requirement that you must be a Dr. to be a medical examiner.
