    WSFuser,
The Pro version formerly used KAV+RAV and then KAV+BitDefender engines.

eXtendia AVK used KAV and RAV engines as far as I know. I don't think it ever had KAV+BD engines.

It WAS good before MS bought it and the product kind of "died".

As was already said, the RAV engine was quite good, until Microsoft purchased it. Some time after MS purchased GeCAD (makers of RAV), the updates stopped. So basically its a dead product now.

eXtendia was going to move to BD, but I don't think their agreement went through. Apparently now they have licensed the Normal engine and Sandbox.

The question I have, does that mean now it uses KAV+Norman? If that is the case, that might be a pretty nice product. But don't expect much of any support, I think it is a 1-2 man operation.

I am fairly certain it is just Norman. Boomerang is just a "re-brander" much like the Cosmi corporation, I wouldn't be suprised if they were a spinoff.

eXtendia does not mention the KAV engine anywhere, so I think its just Norman.
