Explain WIN OS converts to MAC OS

    I have a Win system - suddenly when trying to update office, I get the error message that my browser is not supported and that I have a Mac OS system. Can someone PLEASE explain how this happened and how I can remove a foreign MAC OS so that I can update Microsoft office??
