Experts warn that placing your router near a lamp slows down internet speeds

A lamp? Not sure I buy that unless there is a faulty connection arcing and sending out RFI. Or a faulty LED lamp - maybe. Will be interesting to this diagnostic tool they promise will be coming next month.

 

Oh great, yet another excuse my provider can use to say it's not our fault.

I expect that the supposed issue is about the electrical interference, not the light itself. Though I have never had cause to research the issue, so I don't know how much of a problem this would actually be.

 

Not when Li-Fi will be finally available for public.
