Isn't this about the same statement that we read and see all of the time from most every company/industry in such tech industry? They say they take it seriously but then down the road always crops up another new (un)reported slip or slide where data escapes out to wherever and whoever doesn't exactly have permission to gather the signals and assured privacy goes straight out the window.
Yes, they also always say "We take your security seriously" right after each security incident. It's a PR statement that means nothing.
