I am absolutely positive that this is a Nod32 problem.

When I copy some file (mostly executables and almost with all executables) through Explorer, the file is copied in a breeze.

But when I try the same with Total Commander, the progress bar turns full but halts after that point for minutes till completion. I guess the bigger the file the longer it halts. (files are not huge, let's say 30MB at most)

Then I turn off NOD32 real time protection and file is copied at the same speed with Explorer.

I have added TC to exclusion list but still no solution.

I don't want to disable scan on executable creation or heuristics.

Is there a solution for this issue?

    Regards

The slowdown should occur independently of the program you use to copy files - it takes time to unpack large archives and also emulation provided by advanced heuristics is a time consuming operation.

This issue is persistent since v2.5

Currently I am mentioning about 563

And now I had time to try this with Heuristics turned off. Still no solution.

Then I turned off check at "file creation" and again the operation was smooth.

Btw I've had this thing with every PC I worked with.

(I have TC in a portable drive so it's easier to spot)
