Does it exclude files from the Real Time File System Protection, or the On-Demand computer scan?

    Thank-You,
    Doug

Does that disable disk access for the file being excluded when using real time?

The exclusions are for real-time protection and on-demand scans

    Your first question was:
    My answer was
So the exclusions is a list of files and folders that are not scanned for viruses (both, on demand and real time)

    Your Second question was:
I'm not sure of your question, so I cannot be sure of my answer. :ouch:

    Regards

I mean if I use an excluded file for real time, will it disable disk access for that particular file? The diskette access radio button in the real time setup, under scan on?

The purpose of excluding files is not to block them but exclude them from scanning.
