    Hello ,

Is is generally safe to exclude the sandbox virtual folder from antivirus real time protection ie file scans ?

I am using avast with bufferzone (and outpost firewall)

In my opinion, if you are using Avast, its probably because you depend in the AV to know whats safe or not. You ll be safer allowing Avast to scan the BZ virtual folder.

No need to exclude sandbox folder in Avast. Just add Avast in Software Compatibility of Sandboxie. And you're good to go.
