Everywhere I read about the new features in TI8, especially about the possibility to exclude the hybernation and paging files.

I looked everywhere to turn this option on in TI8.

But untill now I couldn't trace it. Nor does the manual provided with it.

Tried a full backup, but size is still the same as with TI7, so apparantly it is not happening in an automatic way either.

Any help will be appreciated very much.

It should be on by default. My incremental backups went from about 400MB to 60MB.

I upgraded from TI7 to TI8 on XP Pro and I notice that Pagefile.sys and Hiberfil.sys are still included in the full and incremental backups. I wonder if it would make a difference if I uninstalled first when upgrading. Does anyone have any idea about this?

Ditto. It is the only reason I decided to upgrade to TI8, and not a word about how to activate this setting. VERY frustrating.

I have not done a comparison image file creation between version 7, and version 8, to see if there is indeed a size difference. I always assumed TI 8 was excluding the hybernation and paging files because the image file creation was twice as fast when creating an image within windows with TI 8.
