    Re: help for NOD32!

OK, so how do I exclude the two EXE files that NOD32 insists on flagging each time I run the on-demand scanner? (Those being EvID4226Patch.exe and bpftpserver-service.exe.)

The help file's description of the /exclude parameter is essentially useless. My only option, if the /exclude parameter doesn't work (or shouldn't be used for some reason, even though it's documented), is to disable detection of "potentially dangerous files".

I tried this but it doesn't work.

    Code:
    /exclude="C:\Program Files\Console\EvID4226Patch.exe"
    /exclude="C:\Program Files\BulletProof FTP Server\bpftpserver-service.exe"
I've also tried using just the EXE names (no paths), and separating with commas. Nothing I've tried works.

I'm just going to disable scanning of "potentially dangerous files".

Oh yeah--I forgot about that NOD32 LFN/SFN nonsense. I took part in some very old threads about that where it concerns BOClean. I'll just skip detection of /unsafe because I don't have time to keep screwing with this. Thanks, though.
