Exchange 2003 - Restoring

    I want to restore a single mailbox or a few mail messages. Is that possible with Acronis True Image 9.1. I know it back-ups the whole Exchange Database however what if I need to just restore some mail messages.

    Hi,

    you could use Acronis to restore full database, then 2 choices :

    1 : restore to Database REcovery Storage Group and exmerge.

    2 : use a third part tool that can extract mails from edb files...

    Acronis for now cant do that part... i still hope for next versions!

    Please notice that jaycee is correct. You can restore the necessary files separately, and then extract your mail using Exchange tools or other third party software.

    You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image in the respective User's Guide.
