    Greetings
I am using the latest build of NOD32 with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I have noticed that NOD32.EXE is running at startup for several minutes and is using 15-50% of my CPU. Task Manager shows that it is the on-demand scanner that is running. Granted My 1.6 GHZ Pentium M is not a screamer, but I did not recall the on-demand scanner running at startup on XP. Possibly because XP didn't use the same resources at startup. I have disabled the scan of startup items, but that didn't change anything. Furthermore, the startup items are scanned by the NOD32 kernel according to the schedule info. Anyone have any idea why the on-demand scanner is running at startup? I checked the windows scheduler...no items. And I checked the registry for NOD32.EXE entries in HKCU run and HKLM run. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
