EWIDO - What is Updater.exe.temp?

I notice that SBS&D's "Resident" module is "hitting" on this "Update.exe.temp" thing when doing updates on EWIDO.

Is it because of the double-extension?

I can't seem to find that particular file/folder anywhere - does it erase itself when the program re-starts itself after an update?

Also, updates are incremental, correct? So there's really no way to keep a CRC check on the signatures, is there? I'm trying to determine if, despite SBS&D's message, that my updates of EWIDO are going correctly here. Pete

the ewido security suite does an integrity check everytime it starts so there's no need

btw. spybot seems to be too slow to really kill updater.exe.temp most of the time and on fast pcs it won't even recognize that it has been running
