    hi everyone
Ewido just will not run on this computer and I wonder why?I have installed it 4 times today and soon as i get on the pc windows shuts down and restarts and i sent an error message and it says error caused by a device driver and it says some software like anti trogan installs a driver.does edwido?I know its got to be edwido because if i uninstall it computer doesnt have a system crash, and i put it back on and it crashes.I've been installing and uninstalling for awhile to make sure.I would really like to have this program, anyone have any suggestions?
    thanks

Does your computer crash right after you install or when you try to run Ewido?

You could try installing Ewido without the realtime monitor and see if that works.

I sure hope so :D almost afraid to install any new ones-those system crashes are scary.Do they harm your computer or just an annoyance?

Make sure you create a restore point before installing software. Just in case.

heres a link on system crashing diagnosis, but i wouldnt use it unless someone else here says it sounds ok to use (maybe the others in this thread?) because it sounds like you have to go on somekind of network BugToaster

Just a wild guess since I had an install freeze on my computer 2 weeks ago with Panda Platinum. Try disabling the firewall then do the install and see if it works. Then if it works try re-activating the firewall and see if it prompts you to allow and is recognized in the firewall settings. Sometimes Pandas firewall seems slow to react to new installs and seems to block them til it catches on that something is trying to connect. Thats my one month of Panda use wisdom for the day.... :D
