ewido 3.5 imcomplete downloads

Hi,

I've tried too download ewido 3.5 a few times. Each time a message and sound come up to say the download is complete. But each time the downloaded file is either 4MB, 5MB or 3MB compared to the file size should be 5778KB

Whats going on ?

Well i'm still having problems downloading the complete file!

The file size downloaded must be exactly 5778KB right?

Not say 5664Kb, which is what my last download was!?

Any advice?

Mine was 5.64 MB (5,916,992 bytes)

 

Just download! It is same file size as bigbucks.

File size 5.64MB

The md5's are identical, so this must be the correct size!

Just odd 5.64 * 1024 = 5775.36Kb

 

Is the setup working?

 

Ran it, seemed to install alright

Still don't understand the discrepancy in file size though!

 

Just to clear up the file size.

Im assuming, windows doesn't bother to show past two decimal places!

5778 divided by 1024 = 5.642578125 Mb

IMO declaring the ewido-setup.exe file in Mb would have been less confusing.

The file size I got was 5779KB ...

 

On dial-up, I tried to download the new version four times this evening. Same result each time!

File size was only about 3.65MB each time.

Yes, finally managed to download a complete version to-day.

Looks very good, particularly the scanner which seems a lot, lot faster!
