Every time TI launches, whether I do it manually or a scheduled task starts, the following error appears in the Event Viewer System window:

    Event ID: 7
The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block.

Hard Disk 0 is my internal ZIP drive. If there is a disk in the drive, the error will NOT appear. It only happens when there is no disk in the ZIP drive, which is almost always.
Is this normal behavior? Having just installed a new SATA HD, seeing these errors caused me a great deal of concern until I tracked down the problem.

    Version 8.0 - Build 903 – Windows XP Home

    Hello TheWeaz,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

It seems that Acronis True Image tries to analyze all partitions including those on the ZIP drive. If there is no disk in the drive you get an error that is quite natural. If this doesn't affect the functionality you may disregard the error message.

    Thank you.
