I am using ESET Endpoint Antivirus v5.0.2126.0. I have my users' antivirus set up to send me an email if they detect any viruses or have any other type of critical alerts. I remember in previous versions that this alert email used to be pretty much instantaneous when there was any kind of event. I could call up the user and ask them what they were doing and find out if they had indeed run across a virus. Now there seems to be about a 5 minute delay in this notification email. Is there any settings that can be changed to adjust the time limit that I get notified, or is it just the way it is now? :doubt:

There's always been delay so that the recipient doesn't get inundated with tons of emails, for instance in case a virus infects all executables on the disk.
