    I have just downloaded evaluation version Acronis True image 10, made full backup of one partition, started with the second and then this funny error message:

    Cannot access drive.
    Cannot create the image of the logical drive F: because it is currently in use by running applications or the logical drive contains bad sectors.: None

    And the second messsage:

    Operation with partition "F:" was terminated.
    Details:
    Unable to create volume snapshot (0x70021)
    Tag = 0x82DB9339B70C3B16

    The partition F can be accessed without problems with windows explorer.

    I am using XP professional SP1.

    Is it the evaluation version problem or something else.
    Thank you

    My first suggestion would be to run chkdsk.exe /R on all your drives. If possible, use the Recovery Console for running chkdsk.

    Do you have CD/DVD burning software running in the background?

    INCD or similar may be 'hanging on to ' the partition. Terminating these may give you access to the partition again from TI.
