Rico, I have one of those adapters. USB3, Gigabit. It works fine for internet and file transfers. Full speed.

    Hi Amigo,
Thanks! Switched to cable from DSL, now 400 down via ethernet, but only 90-100 down via wifi, all set to run ethernet cable to the TV & yoga, but yoga is to thin to have ethernet port. Cool so I'll spend a few hours in the attic.

    Take Care

@briank - Spent some hot hours, in the attic running Cat5 cable, TV is now fast streaming side, got the ethernet to USB, just a minor slowing 400mpps possible her machine ranges 300 - 350mbps. Wifi, now 1 roku, bbq smoker, Ipad.
What I found strange Ipad consistently, from anywhere in the house clocked in at 350mbps, while the rest of the wifi herd clocked in at 25mbps or less. SNB forum is an education, but old fashioned wires work better. Thanks amigo reply 2 made me a happy camper! Now some popcorn & a 4K movie.
