Never participated there. The read makes it sound quite similar to some bitcointalk forum issues. I wonder if their experienced members sign their accounts like we do at bitcointalk? BTC staked addresses are signed and can only be accomplished by the holder of the private key (like a PGP signature). It is easily verifiable so a hacked account would be taken back unless the "thief" can sign the known address. Solid and safe. There is no coin storage and who would use online exchanges over a hardware wallet? Some do, but not holders of significant currency, I hope.
