ESS won't reinstall after cleaning for virus

Running Vista x64 - and yes, I downloaded the right installer.

After cleaning what ESET SS perceived to be malicious software, the program started running into some kinks:

Therefore, I unistalled the program in order to dowload and reinstall it. This is where I get this:

Bottom line, no ESS installed, which isn’t exactly a preferable situation.
