ESS slow down my downloading speed

After I install the ESS,I find that when I use BitComet to dowload a file the speed is much slower than before.

You see ,I am using ADSL which bandwidth is 1.5MB.The downloading speed always be 150k/s before, but now it goes to below 50k/s.And after I disable the FW of ESS, everything goes well .

Any ideas?

BTW:I'm in automatic model ,is that means I must switch to interactive model in order to solve the issues?

 

I can't help you with a fix but i might mention i had a similar problem using utorrent. The exact same symptoms. I changed to ESET Anti Virus V3 and Comodo firewall and no problems now.

 

I dont use these programs but from reading about it it has many features that I can certainly understand why your connection speed has decreased. Is there a way to turn off all the UPnP,sharing and searching in this program then see if that makes a difference?
