    Hello!
i have just installed ESS Beta 1a so i can help better the product by sending bugs and errors.

but i have a few questions regarding ESS:
    - i didn't find any updates expiration date, usually a beta tester can use the application for 3months then he can't participate in beta testing anymore.
    what about ESS?
    - i searched the forum for a release date for ESS, is there a final version release date?

    Hi,

there's no "known" expiration date for this beta, I think that will be when the "essbeta" account will no longer be valid on their servers, at the end of the beta-testing time span. However, and that will answer your second question, there is no known date for a release version (or even a Beta2), so for now no-one (except maybe ESET staff) can provide release dates/end-of-beta-cycle dates.

I think that the beta will expire with the release of the product. Beta stage is for elimination of the problems and there could be several iterations to get a ready-to-launch product. There will be at least beta2.

The beta already comes equipped with a user name and password. Just install it and enjoy.

Lol most people have had 2 versions to try. People like me can't even install it because we're 64 bit. I haven't had a taste of anything!

Well, b2 and realtime scan exclusion is a big thing for me since using iTunes is currently a nightmare with it enabled. And I use it a _lot_.

I am using ITunes and the suite with no issues. But that by no means does that you are not.
