    hello

i have a problem with the rules and temporary banning of ip in an home network.
The firewall is set to allow file-sharing in my lan. Also i've added a rule that allows TCP & UDP in the trusted zone, which contains the lan subnet.

the problem is that those rules don't work good and i receive a temp ban in the home lan. ESS detects a "port scanning" from my pc port 5355 and temp ban the pc in my network.

is there a solution for this?

    thanks

A port scan attack is occurring in your network which happens with certain brand of routers. Try disabling "UDP Port scanning attack detection" in the IDS section of the firewall setup. In the future, there will be an option to exclude IP addresses from IDS for cases like this.
