    The links above point to removal instructions for particular av products. The tool referred in the ESET's KB article detects the currently installed AV and runs the uninstaller.

    I was referring to the statement "this is not new here in forum". I thought that this was the first post about a tool detecting an installed AV product and running its uninstaller.

    Idd i was refering to his cite, not his link. even the thread topic is about eset av removal tool, not about the removal tools for malware (in general).

    OK, just to clarify. I shared a link to ESET's site that is hosting their tool which can identify installed AV and remove it. On same page they also have a list of links to other AV's manual uninstallers. I did not find relevant threads using Search, so I posted the link.
