ESET6 firewall blocking everything

    My ESET (6) firewall has started blocking everything automatically, despite being in interactive mode. I've used interactive mode for years with no problems, I don't know why it's suddenly started to do this.

    At present, unless a rule already exists, ESET will block all traffic. It won't ask me for new rules if none exist. Also, lets imagine I have a rule that's set to block. If I delete that rule, it will always block that process, it won't revert back to asking because no rule exists. So now, for each new process I wish to allow, I have to manually create a rule.

    Is there any way to resolve this? I don't mind performing a clean install (I don't know how to do this) and losing all my current rules, as long as I can get interactive mode working again.

    FWIW a clean install of ESET7 seems to have resolved the issue.
