wt*? i didn't know eset support forums moved outa wilders.
i think that's not good for them because wilders members experienced in av's were kinda like their honorary support staff.
anyways, good luck on your new forum eset.

Hehe you're welcome, but it doesn't matter since I saw your second post that you found the thread over at the ESET forum. :D This build feels very nice I must say, and my little bug has been fixed too :thumb:

    thanks Swex and C2d.

Yes, i would have done a fresh install if i have v6 installed. Since, i am v7 Beta, i upgraded using v7 Beta application updater.. It works like a charm. No additional clicks were needed :thumb:

did any one tried to run "malwarebytes anti exploit - exploit test" to see if Eset exploit blocker comes into action? I am not sure if eset's new exploit blocker covers this particular area as test tool is not popular application or a browser :doubt:

i don't see a any link to download the test tool directly.

    You're welcome. No I haven't tried it.

BTW one can read a bit more about the ESS features in this PDF:

A few quotes from the PDF about the new features.

That makes it case sensitive and it misses any occurrence where it actually is in between other letters. Still a mess to clean up.

Please report it in our official forum https://forum.eset.com and provide a list of leftovers you had to remove manually. We are aware that some leftovers remain on a disk after installation but the same behavior was observed with examples of ndis drivers from MS WDK so there's definitely a certain issue with Windows removing drivers. On the other hand, all components are unregistered from the system alright.
