FYI. Afaik each language has a different build number, so the English build should differ from the German language build too, with a digit or two.

But Yes it's a newer build than the last 104 Beta of course. :thumb:

Personally, I have no info on that, last I heard was that we were going to see a new BETA "in a few days" but it seems they went straight to the final release since the last/current beta (104) is very stable, since many doesn't seem to have any problems with it. :)

Mhm interesting to read that the new Exploit Blocker in V7 is Patent Pending.....

I thought I had seen a post by Marcos that they were releasing a module update instead of a new beta so users would not have to install another version. I'd be surprised that there was no RC, but as you said, the 104 build seemed stable enough to not drag it out too much longer.

you should not have to reinstall the new installer will uninstall the old one first and keep your settings watch for a checkbox for the settings sometimes there will be one that says to keep user settings i dont have a installer here or i would check for sure.

You should be able to export your settings if you are worried about losing them.

    Hello,

An explanation/discussion of the V7 release schedule can be found here over in the ESET Security Forum.

In a nutshell, countries closest to ESET corporate HQ (e.g., language and time zone-wise) get v7 first, with successive country and language roll-outs to follow in waves.

I don't have any information about the scheduling for those, though.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

I wish Eset would implement some sort of banking protection ala Avast's SafeZone.

    Hello,

There is a message thread over on the ESET forum for product enhancement requests.

Do you happen to have a link to the thread and is it read by the developers? I ask because I have read several requests for seemingly minor wildcard path improvements for the HIPS module that appear to be summarily ignored. I have also seen other reasonable and simple improvement requests (including some of my own) that haven't yet made it into the existing product. It makes me wonder if posting a suggestion is truly a worthwhile endeavor. Either way, NOD32 is currently the best solution for me as it is. The positives far outweigh the negatives and I hold out hope that these will be improved some day.

I am looking forward to eset 7. I have used eset for over two years now and other than seeing the update notices I almost forget it is there.
