eset update

    Another question of a similar nature (rather than start new post).

    I want to update ESET Smart Security too, as I'm renewing right now. Update instructions are to completely uninstall ESET SS first, then reinstall new version.

    Will this lose settings I've changed from default in ESET SS? I'm not a security/firewall guru and some of the settings took a lot of work to get right. I don't want to lose them and I'm not sure what to check for them.

    Will these be maintained when I reinstall (through registry entries or something), or will I have to figure them all out again?
