Maybe this is not worth a thread but....

I sent out 7 e-mails to the (German) support of ESET about NOD32 and got 7 (sufficient) replies in no time (most within a couple hours, all within 24h).

OK, this should be normal but I had quite different experiences with the support of other companies (Yes, I did use Norton...).

    Please , visit http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

Browse and find your latest German versions . Download and install NOD32 v 2.70.39 . You can do it over your current version .

It has previously been discussed why there is no German PCU to 2.7 or perhaps it is better to say why delay :)

Reading things like this restores my faith in Eset. I was far to quick to switch AVs based on comparatives, but recently I have come to understand their sample submission and addition policy - and I have grown to love NOD32 once again :)

Once I e-mailed Eset for customer support, and never got a reply - which shook my faith a little. I like good customer support. But as I said, things like this make me realise why I am once again a NOD user.

Retrospective remark: Looking back on this post, my usage of the word "faith" makes it look like your choice of AV solution is like a choice of religion :p Oh dear...

As discussed in other threads, it is something impossible to go to 700 computer and install it on each seperatly.

I think autoupdate is much comfortable.

You are a very lucky guy.
I never had such a wonderful experience with ESET.:(
IMO replying to customers e-mails is a very weak said of their support and they must improve that ...:'(
And I must say I had that experience with the support of other companies ...( No , I did not use Norton.)

I'm not aware of any problems with our tech support. Did you email support[at]eset.com or your local distributor/reseller?

I'm not sure whether it was support or sales that I mailed to, but sometimes I noticed that Eset would forward all messages to my local distributor who would then reply to the matter. So maybe its something likt that involved here?

Getting a reply is one thing, but was it sufficient to the question / problem.

It was to support some time ago. After a while I quit asking , I renounce sending samples because I felt it's useless .
With the local reseller I talk in person , the shop is just a few hundred meters from my home ... .
