ESET Smart Security license renewal

On the license renewal page for ESET Smart Security, I see that there is an option to purchase licenses for two PCs instead of just one. If I purchase two licenses, am I allowed to use one for my computer and the other for a family member's computer? (She lives across town.)

If the answer is yes, then what are the pros and cons of purchasing our licenses together and saving money?

I have another question: if I were to purchase just one license--a license for me--and then later on I decide to purchase a second license--a license for the family member I mentioned--then will the second license cost more if purchased later instead of at the same time that I renew my first license? I copied the following statement from somewhere on ESET’s web site: “as an ESET security product home user, you may add licenses at a prorated price as long as it is within the renewal period (within 60 days before your license expires or within 60 days after your license expires).” But does it cost more to add a second license AFTER I've renewed the first one but BEFORE that 60 day window ends than it does to purchase both of them at exactly the same time?

 

If you have two computers that need AV protection you're going to want to buy the "2 pack" because of the obvious savings.

Buying two seperately equates to buying two at regular price so it will be more expensive.
