Eset Smart Security and Vista SP2

    I spent a good part of yesterday trying to get Smart Security and Vista SP2 installation to work together. I even installed Vista twice (clean installs) and then tried upgrading from SP1 to SP2. SP2 would not install no matter what. I only have an SP1 Vista DVD set.

    I then installed Vista again, kept my internet disconnected, installed SP2, and then Smart Security. Voila! Works the very best with no errors.

    My system:

    Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P Motherboard
    AMD Phenom II 955 AM3 Black Edition
    8 GB OCZ Professional DDR3 1066
    Sapphire HD3450 512 MB
