I am seeing this error in the event log every time the kernel service starts up beginning on June 16th when the service unexpectedly crashed and rebooted.

    Code:
    Log Name: System
    Source: Service Control Manager
    Date: 8/22/2008 3:40:33 PM
    Event ID: 7030
    Task Category: None
    Level: Error
    Keywords: Classic
    User: N/A
    Computer:
    Description:
The Eset Service service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly.
I was running v667 but upgraded to v672 after doing a clean manual removal and reinstall without the error going away. The NoInteractiveServices key is set to 0, so the thing about the machine not allowing interactive services seems incorrect. The only symptom I notice besides the event log is that the Juniper Hostchecker client that we use for VPN access cannot detect an AV engine installed and running on my system, which prevents access for work.

Any ideas? This one has me stumped.

Vista SP1, no other resident scanning engines.
