In the remote administrator console we have several Linux Servers that appear with a duplicate.

    I.e.

    Server1
    and
    Server1 00001

Does anyone know why that happens and how one can avoid it from happening?

If the MAC address has changed, the server would be recognized as a new one. Try enabling "MAC address renaming (from valid to another valid)" in the advanced ERA server setup.

    Thank you for this suggestion.
I have added the suggested fix to my system and will see if that fixes the issue.
