Is it necessary for ESET to run a startup scan after each update?
with every new update it can possibly find newly detected malware hence the scan.
There have been numerous queries regarding this lately, this topic covers one discussion.
Is your work being hampered in some way?
Sorry, I'm new to the forums and didn't realise this topic had already been discussed.
And no, I was just curious.
In a large environment I have seen the startup scanner detect malware after updates that were in the startup.
