When I temporarily disabling "real-time file system protection" there is no problem, but then when I try to "re-enable real-time file system protection" it fails to do so. The only way I can find to solve the problem is to reboot and that is becoming a PITB big time.

    Does anybody have a solution?

    I am running NOD32 v5.2.9.1 (eav_nt64_enu.msi), the nt64 is Eset's file name not mine.

My bad Marcus, my OS is Windows 7 64bit SP1, I should have put that detail in the OP.

P.S. I have just uninstalled and re-installed NOD32 v5.2.9.1 (eav_nt64_enu.msi), we will see if something was broken or not.
