ESET NOD32 v 5.0 64bit native?

    NOD32 v5.0 will it a complete native 64bit of with a 32bit kernel like in v4.0?

    Hello evildust
    As to my knowledge and what I can see, Eset nod32 v5 and Eset Smart Security still contain 32-bit and 64-bit program code. I think the reason are that a true 64 bit version will increase the memory usage , without real extra benefits. Just my opinion.....;)

    A 64-bit ekrn binary would not increase memory usable by an important degree. The major benefit would be increased archive extraction speed, but would be a burden on the developers as they would be supporting parallel kernels which would make testing and signature verification a bigger chore than it already is.
